2010 MN RenFest

dixon_greenShow opens tomorrow. Am I ready? I suppose. I added more bling to one costume, and I'm about halfway through re-furbing another. I don't have new repertoire, but I'm sounding ok. My fingertips are going to be in agony by the end of the weekend. So will my elbows, but I have the braces ready to go. Hmmm, need to pack plastic baggies for makeshift ice packs. I think I have the right performance mindset (which I did not last year), and while I don't have a CD yet, I do have business cards on order for next week.
I got kinda hung up on doing new underpinnings, wanting to do it right from the fit to construction. Somehow this past week, I got over it, and simply made the repairs and alterations to existing pieces (that were too big) so that they worked. Honestly, the repairs CAN'T been seen, so who cares? And it took so much less time.
Anyhow, it's time to go to bed. Just have to set the timer on the coffee maker maker. The car is already loaded. Wonder what I am actually going to forget.
