It's all in the timing
Dec. 8th, 2004 04:54 pmI ordered some new CDs direct from the publisher last week (Narada). UPS tried to deliver them on Monday, but I was still at the coffee shop working. Normally, I would have been home, and it was freakishly late for UPS - they usually make deliveries in my neighborhood around 2 - but I was still at the coffee shop working. I meant to leave ealier yesterday, but...
I notice the UPS truck parked with its hazards on about half a block from my apartment when I finally walk home. The driver is in the back moving stuff around, so I decided to ask if he has my package. He does! Yay! Everyone is happy. I have my CDs, I didn't have to drive to the depot to get them, and the driver has one less delivery to worry about.
