Jun. 30th, 2010 07:51 pmToday was fiscal year end. The only busier day of the year is calendar year end. The group's work load was being by two experienced employees, one new employee, and an even newer manager. Last year, it was four experienced employees and an experienced manager. Overall work volume was roughly the same. Voice mail wasn't working, and the LAN was cranky.
Work was brutal. Tomorrow is going to be worse. I am so glad there is three day weekend coming up, and time off for WW two work days after that.
At least they ordered in lunch today. And I have Jameson's at home. And a cat who REALLY wants to snuggle. I had brought my gym bag along with a plan to visit the gym after work, but... Jameson's and snuggly cat.
