Apr. 27th, 2006 11:58 pmFacilities brought a lamp for my desk today. OMG, what a difference proper lighting makes.
Still no trash cans, though. Or a pencil drawer.
And, the plasma TVs and CC cameras go live tomorrow or Monday. Great, I get to work under a live camera all day long, the image of me and my co-workers splashed all over at the front of the cube row. On the other hand, it has been suggested by the installation tech that once the business day is done, we might be able to bring in a gaming system and play video games on the TVs. Apparently, it has been done in other offices with this set up. I rather doubt my immediate management team would approve, but it would be nice for those days when I have a later last deadline, a lot of time to kill, and no else in the office besides the other co-worker caught by the later deadline.
